SPONSORED: by Christina L., Mannheim
Born: estimated in 2015
Weight: 15 kilos
Breed: Purebred Pointer
Gender: Female, not spayed yet due to illness. Scheduled to be spayed in December 2017
Health issues: Due to the fact that she was almost starved to death, her immune system is very weak. Further her previous owner did not give her any anti parasite treatment, therefore unfortunately she is Leishamnia positive (transmitted by a sand fly) and has Ehrlichia (transmitted by a tick). But is a fighter and recovers fast
In Foster Care in Aegina since May 2017
My story: I was found abandoned and starved to death in Souvala, Greece. I was probably owned by a hunter and I may not have been a good hunting dog, so he just abandoned me. Unfortunately, that is all too common in Greece. I was half dead when I arrived. Within 20 days I gained 2 kilos! I am sweet-natured, very submissive, calm (unless I can smell something that excites me, then I don’t stop until I found it as a typical pointer). I am 60cm high, so a mid-sized dog. I am perfect with children and would make a lovely family dog because I am full of love. I will be nurtured back to health and will then be put up for adoption. In the meantime, if you like to open your home for me and let me into your heart, I would be over the moon.
