Education in Aegina

On May 10th, Aegina had its first ever animal welfare presentation at high schools and elementary schools. This was organized by Zero Stray Pawject in collaboration with the municipality of Aegina Mrs Sofia Hatzina. Nikki Clainos from SPAZ (Society for the Protection of Stray Animals, Glyfada), held the first ever two presentations about responsible dog ownership to 260 enthusiastic students at the 1st Dimotiko and Gymnasio in Aegina town. Teachers and deans participated in that interactive workshop which was well received. The SPAZ program is funded by Dogs Trust. We are working on continuing an education program in Aegina over the next years.
